RipSaw ScrollForge is back in the workshop.

RipSaw has changed a lot since I first released it thanks to all the beta testers and all the Intarsia artists taking time to provide feedback,

At this point, the version I am building is different enough that I am no longer comfortable selling the current version as though it represents where RipSaw is headed.

So, for now, sales are paused.

I would rather pause than sell you the wrong version.

The current release still works, and people are using it today. But the application is being rebuilt in some significant ways.

Some tools are changing, some workflows are being reconsidered, some things that used to be separate are starting to fit together in a much more natural way.

I could keep selling the current version while I work on the next one, but that does not feel right to me. I would rather finish the work properly.

Already using RipSaw?

Nothing changes for the version you already have. The current Help section will remain available while the new application is being completed. As the next version gets closer to being ready, I will update the ForgePatterns pages clearly before anything changes for existing users.

Sales temporarily paused

A new version of RipSaw ScrollForge is in development. Windows and MacOS are both part of the plan. Purchasing will reopen when the new version is ready for the sawdust.

Thank you for your patience, your interest in RipSaw, and for giving me the room to build this in a way that respects the craft we all love so much.

I appreciate everyone who has followed the project, used the current version, shared feedback, and helped shape where it goes next.
